Ridepact is built to help UCSD students coordinate shared airport rides with clear, limited data use.
Effective date: April 14, 2026. This policy explains what Ridepact collects, how we use it, and the choices available to students using the product.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to operate Ridepact, including your name, UCSD email address, profile details, ride posts, ride matches, in-app chat activity, and payment records connected to split prices.
How we use information
- To create and maintain your Ridepact account.
- To match you with classmates traveling to the same airport.
- To support in-app coordination, customer support, and account safety.
- To calculate and process split prices for shared rides.
Who can see your information
Your account details and ride activity are shared only as needed with other matched riders, our infrastructure providers, and service partners who help operate Ridepact. We do not publish rider lists or expose personal contact information publicly.
Data retention
We retain account, ride, and transaction data for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the safety of the platform.
Your choices
You can request account deletion or privacy support by contacting hello@ridepact.com. Some records may still be retained where required for payments, security, or legal compliance.
